Firefox attack code posted by security researcher
A security researcher has posted malicious code that exploits a
vulnerability in Firefox 3.0.x. Mozilla reacted quickly and changed its
browser release schedule: Version 3.0.8, which will include a patch, is
scheduled for a release early next week.
NASA brings Orion spacecraft to Washington DC mall
NASA announced yesterday that they would be bringing a full-scale mockup of their Orion spacecraft to the National Mall in Washington, DC on March 30. The 45 foot long vehicle will be attached to a semi trailer parked between 4th and 7th streets in front of the mall. A special press event will be held at 10am. Orion is the vehicle that will return a NASA crew to the moon in a planned 2020 mission.

YouTube removing Warner Music videos again, not just muting
Thousands of user-created videos, rather just their audio tracks (content/view/41031/113/), are once again being pulled from YouTube. Due to the ongoing copyright dispute between Warner Music Group and YouTube, tens of thousands of amateur videos have been removed from the site. Users believe their videos fall under the category of “Fair Use”, but failed negotiations between YouTube and Warner Music have resulted in all content being affected.

Production increasing at TSMC, UMC and others
Rival chip-making companies, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) have recalled all or most previously laid off workers and production is returning to normal levels. This comes after a substantial decline which began in late September, eventually falling to 60% of previous production capacity resulting in forced unpaid leave and lay offs.

Intel delays "Menlow" Atoms, mulls increasing prices in China
Intel is reportedly delaying the launch of its 1.2 GHz and 2.0 GHz Menlow-based Atoms until mid-April, about three weeks from now. The reports come from MID makers and follow additional reports Intel is also looking to raise its N270 Atom price in China.
